From my journey… to yours!

Road Stake started as a way to save up for my travels and find new creative challenges.

I have worked as an educator, writer, and operations professional for 20 years. I have written policies, designed programs, overseen teams, written curricula, and created marketing materials for many organizations. In each job, or side hustle, my favorite part was the initial creative problem solving. Just like with narrative writing, everything starts with asking the right questions. What needs to change to make this more efficient? How could this work better? Who would be the right addition to this team? How could stakeholders be more engaged?

I have learned and seen so much in my work and travels, and now I’m hoping to turn my experience and expertise into great ideas for small businesses and non-profits. I’m passionate about the difference that efficiency, great design, sophisticated communication, and clear vision can make in an organization.
